Airl is the extraterrestrial pilot from the 1947 Roswell crash, featured in the book Alien Interview (and associated works by Darryl Harvey). According to the book, Airl is a telepathic, immortal spiritual being (“IS-BE”) serving as an officer, pilot, and engineer for a civilization called “The Domain. Airl did not speak English, but communicated with MacElroy via telepathic, thought-form communication. Airl claimed to represent a vast civilization called “The Domain,” which operates within this region of the galaxy, using Venus and the asteroid belt as local spaceports.
